I worked as a press photographer and then started to make pictures of animals in the late 90's, mostly in forests, jungles, deserts and savannahs around the world (Malaysia, Thailand, The Philippines, Laos, Australia, Samoa, Palau, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Peru, Ecuador, Columbia, Venezuela, Brasil, Namibia and South Africa). Later I took a closer look the de fauna of Sri Lanka in the Sinharaja Rainforest. In 2018 I concentrated my work mainly in Switzerland, my home country (Central Switzerland / Mittelland, Solothurner Jura). Since 2020 I'm producing public presentations about insects and their fascinating behaviour, shown by photos, videos and good storytelling. Since 2022 I'm focusing even more in these and other insects projects and do presentations for nature societies, culture locations, museums, schools and private occasions under the brand of Insects and stories.ch
