I have loved exploring nature for as long as I can remember. I also enjoy sharing what I see with others. Contributing to iNaturalist seems to be a good fit. I enjoy contributing to citizen science projects. I am a MN Master Naturalist. I took the North Woods, Great Lakes Course in 2016. I enjoy volunteer work with that program.

Birding is something I especially enjoy and I frequently take the time to enter sightings into eBird. One of my goals is to see all of the regular species here in MN.

The last couple years I have put more time into exploring moths. I have been using a blacklight to attract them so I can get photographs to use for identification.

I have attended a few bio blitzes and look forward to attending more.

Just about any aspect of nature interests me. I have purchased many of the North Woods Naturalist Series field guides and find them very useful when I am out exploring the natural world.
