Hi all!

My name is Jesús, I am from Seville, Spain, although I have been living in Bristol, UK for the last couple of years. I am a biologist, naturalist and environmental educator. I have spent the last year as a Live Science team member at We the Curious science centre, engaging children and adults with science and environment related workshops, stories, kitchen activities or 3D Planetarium shows!

Birds was the first group I learnt more about in fantastic volunteering experiences in Doñana National Park and the Strait of Gibraltar (south Spain), and I do love them, but then I "discovered" plants (I did a 160 species -mainly herbs- herbarium during my degree), fungi, insects, mammals (I did an internship in a Wolf conservation project in Portugal -LIFE+ MedWolf-, where I learnt lots about mammals and tracking).
So to sum up, I know a little bit about everything and a whole lot about nothing. I LOVE learning, observing a new species, a new behaviour in a previously known one, looking for info, and generally really enjoy watching wildlife do their thing. It is my favourite thing, I think. It helps me relax and makes me feel connected to the planet, to Gaia. And no need to say, I love telling others about nature.
