I have a bachelor's degree in biology with a concentration in ecology. I took classes that would prepare me for a career in aquatic biologies such as limnology, aquatic zoology, and ecology and adaptation. I currently work for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the Safe Drinking Water program. Before working with the DEP I worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) as a Plant Inspector for the spotted lanternfly program.

Additionally, I am an avid hiker and backpacker. I have a blog called The Ecological Hotspot where I write about my hiking trips and adventures. The Ecological Hotspot also has an Instagram account where I share all of my wildlife and plant life observations with descriptions of their biology. I'm also a birder, hunter, and fisherwoman.
