By education a botanist with a concentration in grassland ecology, since retirement I have released my inner naturalist! My husband and I are located in the Sky Islands region of southwestern North America, so we get to prowl a range of ecosystems including the Sonoran Desert, semi-arid grasslands, cienegas and mountain ranges searching for plants, birds, mammals, arthropods, and whatever else strikes our fancy.
