Hi there!

I am a 18yr old naturalist who lives in George ( Western Cape, South Africa ) and loves absolutely everything to do with nature (except maybe a large Harpactira- see https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/334630-Harpactira). I am an orchidophile/ orchidologist, which basically means that I'm mad about our local orchids (especially the genus Disa). I'm also a keen herper, birder and ichthyologist. My profile picture shows Disa arida, an uncommon Karoo orchid redlisted as Endangered. The pollinator remains unknown...
l am privileged to be a member of Outramps, the local CREW branch (CREW = Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers).

I am a Christian, which means that I believe Jesus made atonement for my sins by his death on the cross and afterwards rose from the dead.

Too many people die every day thinking that they are unloved. If you are one of those people, know that Jesus loves you more than you can ever imagine. He was willing to suffer torture and death for your sake and now desires a personal relationship with you.
