I like big birds; baldies, hawks, herons, and vultures. Not to mention, parrots and peafowl.

I visit the bald eagle nest on Highway 39 once or twice a week. Love the drama of the yearly nest building , brooding and fledging.

I also live in a house with a flock of 20-40 turkey vultures that come by every night, yes every night, all year, rain or shine. Their crap is all over my front steps, but I have come to peace with their persistence. They are huge raptors and they attract such rare sightings as Peregrine Falcons and, twice, a Zone Tailed Hawk. And the flock varies from 10 to 60, so that alone is quite a drama.

This year has brought me joy topping all lists for the colorful breeds. Parrots and Peafowl are year round in these neighborhoods. I have notice distain from the iNaturalist for the Peafowl. Understandable. We had a large flock of migrating Parakeets this year. Between Woodpeckers, Parakeets and Parrots our mornings have quite a choral competition. Thanking God the Peafowl live out of ear-shot.

Last fall (2019) got my first real camera, Cannon T7i with 300 mm lens. The next year, March, 2020, got the Sigma 600mm. Wow, love this hobby.
