I'm a field biologist with 50 years experience, primarily in So. California and strong interests in herps, birds and plants, but take delight in studying ecology of insects, including native bees, wasps and butterflies. In particular have worked with salamanders, lizards, cactus wrens, rare plants and flora surveys of Los Angeles County Natural Areas from which I retired.
