Greetings! I just got started with iNaturalist this summer and am not sure why I didn't become involved years ago. I have always enjoyed fielding IDs of mollusks and other invertebrates for friends and colleagues--it's a great way to get exposure to new species and a wider range of variation in species I'm already familiar with. Joining an online community for which this is the collective goal is a pleasure.

My wife and I are amateur birders and I am slowly delving into local fungi and flora. I appreciate any and all identification help! I plan to slowly migrate my Flickr photos/observations over to iNaturalist in the near future.

My professional background is in salt marsh ecology and invertebrate evolutionary ecology.
