I am an evolutionary biologist and entomologist at Cornell University. My research focuses on the phylogenetic relationships among the Drosophilidae, with an emphasis on Hawaiian Drosophila and Scaptomyza. I run the National Drosophila Species Stock Center (https://www.drosophilaspecies.com/), a living collection of ~300 drosophilid taxa. Past and current projects in the lab have involved Asteiidae, Canacidae, Dolichopodidae, Ephydridae, Limoniidae, and Tipulidae.
