I have been a member of the New York Mycological Society since 1992 after taking an Intro to Mushrooms from Gary Lincoff at the NYBG. From 2007-2008+ conducted along with the Naturalist Nancy Slowik, a survey of the fungi of Greenbrook Sanctuary. In 2010 he received The North American Mycological Association's Harry and Elsie Knighton Service Award. I've been active in the Peck Foray, leading the NYMS to host this annual event three times. I currently serve as an instructor in mycology at the NYBG.
