I've been a postdoctoral fellow at Washington State University since 2018, studying mussel physiology and bioinformatics. I did my PhD at UC Berkeley studying Phyllaplysia taylori, the eelgrass sea slug, and the physiological effects of climate change. I'm also the Science Partnerships Committee Chair for the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation - check out better ways to communicate science at climateinterpreter.org!

Follow me on instagram for more pictures of marine invertebrates and science communication tips! @rlitanner
