My research mostly focuses on sub-boreal forest ecosystems of Atlantic Canada, with an emphasis on lichens and bryophytes, but I know my herbaceous plants pretty well and am working to improve on the more difficult groups.

I know a lot about rotting wood and the things that grow upon it.
