I am an assistant professor in the biology department of University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where I teach plant taxonomy and curate the Freckmann herbarium. My areas of expertise are orchids--particularly the subtribe Acianthinae--and the flora of the Midwestern US. I also have particular interests in the flora of Australia, New Guinea, and SE Asia.
