A lifelong birder, also long interested in mammals and herps. I have been guiding birding tours around the world for Field Guides Inc for 20+ years, during which I've also tried to learn as much as possible about the mammals and herps of the areas I have visited, plus anything else in the natural world which has caught my eye.

With the current pandemic, I have found myself with lots of time on my hands, much of which has been used exploring my local area, and trying to learn more about many of the other groups of organisms to which I've paid not enough attention in the past. This has led to me getting hooked on the Odonata in recent months, and taking plenty of terrible pictures with my phone, some of which can actually be identified! I'd be grateful for any assistance and direction in how to approach the identification of these critters!
