North side - 4/29/2020

April 29th, 2020 (Wednesday) 9 am – 11:00 pm: 2 new dead newts.
The weather was a bit cool, overcast.
All newts observed today were new, as I removed everything last week, and did so again today.
Other roadkills - some bumblebees, honey bees (at least 3 more than the documented ones), a beetle, a small scorpion, a centipede (I saw another one crossing the road), a caterpillar.
Coverage: north part - the county park parking lot till the second stop sign. There's a dead newt right after the stop sign, so technically I'm not supposed to document it. I thought I'd leave it there and add it to the decomposition study and remove it from this project - https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/44318202
Rainfall: (MTD: 2.4 in; YTD: 20.40 in). Data from - http://www.weathercat.net/wxraindetail.php
Traffic: 5 trucks, 21 cars, 14 bikes, 19 pedestrians.
All county park parking lots were open.
