Bushcare Monday 23rd January

2 New volunteers to start the year and new plans to start a second site on Mahogany Creek downstream soon. Work has started on what will be our first major planting site. The elderberry infested area treated previously with a herbicide is now dying off hopefully we can start to restock with natives in Autumn. The Shoalhaven Bushcare nursery has agreed to provide three trays of plants and our own mini nursery is underway hopefully planting our first 50 lomandras. We also collected seeds from hardenbergia. More sightings of swamp wallabies, an echidna, trigger plants in flower.
