Tai Haruru (Sound of the sea), is a Forest & Bird lodge on Auckland's west coast at Piha. The house was gifted to F&B in 1981 by Mr & Mrs H.S. Davenport. Funds from F&B member bookings are used for conservation projects.
This project documents the flora and fauna found in and around the house and small coastal native bush garden.
