te Whau BioBlitz 2015

Te Whau BioBlitz runs from 9am to 6pm on Wednesday 29th July at Kurt Brehmer Walkway and Saunders Reserve in Avondale. Kurt Brehmer walkway is a site the Whau River Catchment Trust and Friends of the Whau have been restoring for over 12 years, with areas of remnant and regenerating coastal forest and cliffs, in addition to mud flats and mangrove forest.

We have experts lined up and have requested sunny weather, so join us in our quest to count just how many species there are in this regenerating urban reserve. No need to register. Learn something new and surprising about our urban biodiversity. Meet at Base Camp which is the West End Rowing Club at Saunders Reserve.
