A nature observer from the North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

This year I am trying something different and am co-organising the Great Southern BioBlitz 2020 for the Coffs Harbour Region.

I enjoy the outdoors, especially more remote locations.
I do a lot of hiking, fishing and bird watching when I'm not playing sport or surfing.
I am interested in birds, fish, beetles, moths, spiders, marine molluscs, mammals, rainforest plants and a little bit of everything else.

I have learnt so much on iNaturalist and love how it enhances my motivation to get out and observe nature in many different places.

Over the last couple of years I have found new interests including mothing, sea-shell collecting, native plant gardening, photography and have recently decided to try my hand at growing local rainforest plants from seed. I love learning how to do new things, particularly from others with more knowledge and experience than myself.

If you are ever in my area (Coffs) feel free to give me a holler if you want to go walking, I'm up for anything really. Also happy to volunteer for any environmental programs or research work.

A list of handy iNat links I have gathered.
