This ID is for the LARVA, not the male 'Akiapola'au. I'd heard that they only eat the larvae of three species of longhorn beetles found exclusively in Koa (and saw an example of their unique excavation hole). So this is either one of those three species or the 'Akiapola'au opportunistically captured a caterpillar. He carried it around for a while, then ate it.
