Butterflies fly into the pool enclosure when we have the door open. I caught one in cupped hands to release it. When I opened my hands to let it go, it walked onto my fingers and sat on them for several minutes - long enough for my husband to go into the house to get his phone and then come back and take several photos. Then it flew away.
