Our chicken pen has been fox and cat proof for the last 20+ years but we've had four birds killed over the last three nights. So I popped a motion camera out there last night to see if I could catch the culprit. And I did... in the act (last photo is it on the back of a chicken)!
In various photos you can see it coming out of the chicken shed and, having flushed some birds out, then trying to corner a chicken in the main pen.
Very excited to have a Chuditch record in suburban Kalamunda!! (Slightly less excited to have lost four good laying hens.)
Time to find the hole in the pen where the cheeky little rascal is getting in and do some repairs.
