150-µm rotifer (?) found in water sample collected from river in silty part of shoreline with floating duckweed. This critter was telescoping and contracting its body during the observation.
50 µm diatom taken from water sample taken from SW shoreline of Mountain Lake, in area of greenish algal growth and some mud. This was the most common microorganism I was seeing in this sample - maybe near Amphora?

Several dark swallowtails seen together near beach. This looks a bit like a time-lapse collage, but this was a single exposure photo that seems to have captured three butterflies (there were three flying around) in one image... :)

Small 5-mm white flowers with five petals in a trumpet, growing very low to the ground in a sandy/gravelly open area. iNat suggests Plagiobothrys and/or Eremocarya, which I guess might be synonyms?

Two immatures swept from vegetation, photos only. This is one of the only species of Mecaphesa that can be identified from photos, based on the distinctive pattern on the abdomen.
