I hadn't seen the scalloping on the head end before.

Aquatic flatworms ranging from 4-9mm. With thanks to the Albany Museum who conducted DNA analysis on these specimens to identify them to species level.

Under stone beneath Quercus. Later realized that there are sporangia from some fungus or slime mold around the worm.

Cherax destructor host

This was found in the stream in Ronans Well Cave Voorkamer. Dark grey. 10mm when fully extended.

Approx 20mm long. In the same pool as https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/48469642 (2008)

I saw 4 of these, ranging from 4mm long to 16mm long. Pictures are of the 16mm specimen.
