Male has hair fascicles on the venter of tergite 4 and 5.
I used the key on Shima(1996) and compared its male genitalia with the figure on Shima et al.(1992).
This species has rather narrow cerci. Surstyli are triangular.

In Japan, two species L. picta & L. tessellans are the most common species among this genus. L. pallidohirta may be somewhat montane species.
