Sphaerophoria, perhaps. I've little hope of an ID for this one, I mainly wanted to document their stationnary mating in flight. Amazing animals.

Águila Cabeza Blanca (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)Observ.

Poorly framed, unfortunately. I tried to anticipate its trajectory and failed a bit. It flew out of the forest and dove at a group of common mergansers nearby. Nobody was harmed and the eagle flew away across the lake.
I was a mere 10-15 m away of the action - it was an awesome moment.

La femelle nous a vu avant qu'on ne la voit et a trahi la présence de son nid en tentant de nous en éloigner. La photo a été prise à distance et nous avons rapidement quitté les lieux pour limiter le dérangement.
The female spotted us before we did and betrayed her nest by trying to lead us away. We took the picture from a distance then promptly left to limit disturbance.
