I believe I have the correct classification.
Observed on the side of my driveway. Gave her an escort to a nearby bush for safety purposes.
The observation is for the black widow spider.
Friend found this on their front door at night, no markings but fairly large
Young yucca. Only in this area that I have seen probably brought in by birds
I apologize in advance for the bad photos. Took on phone.
!Need help identifying! Found near the base, in the cusp of the surface layer of soil, of a mint sapling. Its abdomen seemed to be pulsating or throbbing similar to an upset yellow jacket suggesting a soft or layered consistency. Thorax and head appeared hard and armored. No wings observer. Short stubby quick legs.
