Night, 71°F, scattered thunderstorms. Found in a temporary pond in the road, which has been there a while because of consistent rain. Never found one before.
Night, 71°F, scattered thunderstorms. Found near a temporary pond formed from recent rains. I believe this is an adult version of the toadlets that have taken over my neighborhood. Made rapid chirping noises when grabbed.
On the doormat of our front entrance. One of several Texas Spiny Lizards that seem to have taken up residence at different locations in our yard.
Many more musk thistles and yellow star thistles than native Texas thistles.
