This poor Female Cardinal had hit the windows a few months back this year in 2024. She was pretty confused afterwards. She recovered fully after a few hours and we set her free back into the park. The next day, we saw a male Cardinal in the same spot where we had let her go. Hopefully she is living life to the fullest!
This female American redstart was foraging insects in the spruce trees in our garden. It was a cloudy and foggy, and a cool 16 C. morning.
This little guy flew right onto the railing where I could get a somewhat decent shot of him. There was about 4-5 other Wrens hanging around him, making squealing noises.
