I didn't find any P. texana or Prunus minutiflora at the Devil's Sinkhole but I found many Riccia!
I couldn't go off trail since it's a guided tour.

Woo Hoo, just found a 4th species this minute in our unid'ed folder 😎
Interesting the size difference compared to Riccia spongiosula on the left (of the shot with the rule, this one bing on the right).
At Ellura we have an average yearly rainfall of about 283mm. Given a desert is defined as below 250mm, we are classed as a semi-arid environ.
We thought we had 2 Riccia species; R. limbata & an undefined white one. I now think we have 4 where the undefined white one is a dead or finished observation of one of these 4 (Riccia spongiosula):
