Taken mid morning on a sunny day, looked under leaves of plants. Found under zucchini leaves in back garden of my house.
Order Coleoptera justification: 4 wings, forewing is a hard cover, simple abdominal apex, cerci absent.

This group of about 20 Sawfly larvae were moving off a walking trail into the dry heathland beside it. Together, they moved about 25mm per minute.
Male is carrying what I assume to be a female Blue Swimmer, may be part of the mating prosses.
