Faint but present banding colors. Lighting didn’t help at all, but it’s there.
Hard to identify tree species found in Crossville.
Found by a stream. Several other individuals were on the property, some several feet in height.
Found on a tree stump in a deciduous forest.
Found on a food plot in the middle of a succeeding hardwood forest. Wanted to check out our tools.

This little nightmare had settled on our front walkway. It was about half-dollar sized and had fairly distinct white stripes on the sides of its thorax.
These unusual clumps of mushrooms were growing in the grass barriers of a dorm parking lot. I mistook them for rotting pumpkins at first because of their growing pattern and amber color.
These clumps of grass were quite tall with relatively rigid blades.
This pair of lemon-yellow mushrooms had been kicked over when I found them. They had rigid, porous caps.
These sweetgum balls were scattered all over the park.
