Fruiting in needle litter and woody debris beneath Sitka spruce, red alder and Western Hemlock.
Pruinose stem exuding deep maroon juice where handled/damaged.
Cap: scalloped/frilled margins.
Collected 4 specimens.
Removed a single gill and mounted on a glass slide in 3% KOH.
MICROSCOPY:
Spores: broadly ellipsoid, globose to subglobose(variable), smooth, medium sized.
Cystidia: large and lanceolate(pointed icicle shape/needle tipped with swollen bases).
Dehydrated all specimens and bagged for herbarium collection/genetic record.

Actually closer to Cyathus julietae based on spore size, but julietae not recognized
On magnolia tree
Ubiquitous on Church Mt trail draped on branches, bark, and forest floor
