Under Picea sitchensis, Pinus contorta, and Morella californica
This thing is huge.
Abundant near the start of the loop trail.
Your sea turned dark and stormy,
I tossed upon a violent gray;
with sea urchin spines thorny,
you goaded me to sail your way
and left my heart in disarray.
~Faye Gibson
