Found growing high on the trunk of a recently fallen, moss covered oak. Key features used to identify this Sticta to species include the presence of numerous isidia with round-cylindrical tips on the dorsal surface and a densely matted ventral tomentum.

On Hawthorn, Crataegus monogyna. These I think are true cilia (not out-turned rhizines as I've encountered before).

On Pinus contorta, medulla PD+Red, soredia laminal to terminal on upper surface
Found high up on a Populus trichorcarpa. Growing on a branch halfway up a Pseudotsuga menziesii. A foliose lichen with marginal soridia and a pruinose texture. does not look similar but it is the only Hypogymnia with a P+R medulla chem result.
