Natural Bridges/West Cliff Drive - California sea lions and cormorant
The top bird (larger one) is the Raven. The bird below it is a crow, trying (and failing) to escape with a walnut.
This seems to be a leucistic species. I originally thought sparrow, but a lot of people have convinced me that it is a finch. Without the normal coloration it's amazing how hard this is to pin down. American Goldfinch, Pine Siskin, and Lesser Goldfinch seem to be the most popular suggestions. I think I am liking Lesser Goldfinch, but I am waiting for the experts to weight in!
