On the morning of Jan. 25, I hiked the entire 2.6 mi loop around Falcon SP; I got a little disoriented on the map in the latter half of the hike*. The Starr/Zapata county line bisects Falcon SP and thus without GPS capabilities for my point-and-hope camera, I can only approximate where some of my images were taken based on their time stamp. As a result, some may be misplaced as to their county of occurrence.
* The trail map for Falcon SP is, unfortunately, somewhat stylized--just enough that it's hard to actually keep track of where you are along the trail except at road crossings. It's a pet peeve of mine. I always want realistic, extremely accurate hiking maps!
