Part of a large group of mating/ovipositing damselflies consisting of several species, primarily blue-fronted dancers (Argia apicalis), dusky dancers (Argia translata), blue-ringed dancers (Argia sedula), and a couple of pairs of coral-fronted threadtails (Neoneura aaroni).
Searched the area first thing in the morning and saw many russet-tipped clubtails and eastern ringtails. Then searched south of the river and encountered essentially the same species. Had breakfast and returned to area north of river and it was one of the first species I encountered. It’s been a week short of three years since my last sighting of this species.
