I would naively guess Dryad's Saddle, but am not sure
Seen near area that becomes a seasonal creek/swamp in the spring and early summer after periods of rain. Surrounding area is mostly shrubby/open grassland (alvar).
Growing from the stump of a large deceased hemlock
Spotted while going on a walk behind Humber Lakeshore Campus. White body with black eyes and a orange beak.
