The Common Gallinule, or Gallinula galeata, was found at Oak Hammock Park in Fort Lauderdale on April 4, 2020, at 2:49 PM. It was at the coordinates of (26.178, -80.274). It was a little over a foot long. Its beak was a bright orange color and yellow at the tip. Its feathers were grey and white at its tail. Though its legs were submerged in the marsh, the top of its legs was orange and yellow. Its habitat was a wetland. It was not cultivated because the park did not intend for it to be there.
