Lemony scent. KOH pinkish red on base of inside of stipe and light green on cap. Madrone, interior live oak, ponderosa pine, black oak.

Extremely tiny eruptions of fungal material through the periderm. Immature fungus resembles a featureless orange glob, while mature expressions resemble bright red, spherical berries
On Rosa gymnocarpa. Whatever this is there were several places on these roses here and elsewhere nearby causing curious formations, which I will post.
Two fruiting bodies found within 20 feet of large patches of Microglossum nudipes complex. Fruiting from needle duff unlike all other earth tongues around found fruiting from moss. Second photo compares the two Microglossum sp. on the left with M. nudipes found nearby .
