Was not expecting a snake to be crossing the road at 1 am. I had to swerve the car to center it, and luckily I didn’t hit it
Lifer! I’m glad I stopped for it because it was on the side of the road next to some vegetation so I thought it might be a stick. Musked upon capture, then hid its head the rest of the time
Found digging a burrow in the soil

Green snake spotted at a walking trail at Lakeline Park in Cedar Park, Texas
One eye fully opaque white. Pretty sizeable individual and a bit chunky.
