Another student in this class and I walked the path behind the Rec Center on campus. It was very sunny outside, but also very cold. We walked through the woods and found many different species of plants. Almost all of the plants we found were vascular. It was the most hard to find moss, but we found some hidden between some rocks in the shade. I recommend walking that path because we found tons of nature and it was very beautiful.

Yesterday I walked through the forest with another kid in the class. I did not find many fungi, but I did see some Parmelioideae, which is a type of fungi. I also saw some very small mushrooms, and a species of fungi that I had never seen before, and some moss.
