Chestnut Hill Reservoir: Sunday February 23,2020

Took about a 45-minute walk around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir on the first spring-like day of the semester. The weather was beautiful as the sun was out with almost no clouds in the sky. It was around 55 degrees today with a slight breeze, making today without a doubt the nicest day so far this year. A lot of the bushes and trees were starting to flower again as spring is getting closer. As well, a lot of geese and swans were on the water today, making the scene all and all very peaceful. A lot of people were taking advantage of the nice weather as there were a large number of people running and walking around the reservoir simply getting exercise and enjoying the nice weather. The day definitely helped me clear my mind and get ready for the last few midterms before spring break begins. On top of all of this, I was glad that I got the opportunity to walk around the reservoir as I have been recommended to do so by a lot of people and it was as enjoyable as everyone said it was. For the most part, the woods surrounding the reservoir were generally diverse with a lot of trees, such as various pines and oaks, and various other types of shrubbery.
