Perispore somewhat loosening in few spores.
Weakly but distinctly dextrinoid.

Smooth hymenium. This species is either extremely variable or a complex. Looks so different on the west coast. Reminds me so much of veluticeps on the west coast - But this was growing on a hardwood and seems common here.

Growing on hymenium of Trametes betulina - consistent with previous observations. Measurement needed to rule out H. polyporicola, but 3 measured observations regionally turned out to be this.
