I grew up too focused on graffiti in Northern California, but then I found a much healthier obsession with the plants and fungi that I find here. Being an amateur botanist and mycologist suits me much better. I wish I had switched activities sooner, because I've gained a better perspective and more appreciation for life. My goal is to have a career where I can study and conserve nature as much as possible. I've always loved nature, but I started taking things like taxonomy and ecology seriously during winter of 2022-2023. I'm mostly interested in plants and fungi, but I like to learn about all types of organisms and natural sciences.
