I am macro photographer passionate about photographing Myxomycetes (slime molds) and tiny fungi, primarily Ascomycetes. I use specialized macro and extreme macro lenses to capture the microscopic details of these beautiful organisms. For the tiniest of organisms, I use a microscope objective adapted to my camera. The majority of my photographs are focus stacks of anywhere from 100 to 500+ individual images.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and travel when I can to other areas to find and photograph my favorite subjects. A wet forest is my happy place.😊
