I'm a biologist from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), currently getting my master's degree on the program of Tropical Ecology and Conservation in the same university. I'm really interested in montane cloud forest plants. My research is primarily based in orchid taxonomy, but I want to expand it towards other poorly known families, as well as try on ecological research and plant conservation.

Favorite groups: Bomarea (Alstroemeriaceae), Porroglossum (Orchidaceae), Renealmia (Zingiberaceae), Centropogon and Burmeistera (Campanulaceae), and the families Ericaceae, Gesneriaceae and Balanophoraceae.
