I was introduced to iNaturalist through my CA Naturalist course that I took in spring 2016. I really like getting help from the naturalist community when my field guides fail me. Oftentimes with inverts and lichen and such, I hardly know where to start. My forte is birds and coastal plants. I usually use eBird and CalFlora, so it's hard to know which app to use for a single observation.
